born in 1978 in the north west of ireland colin o'dowd went on to study architecture at the metropolitan university in london. after studying architecture for three years and working in an
architects office for a year, colin decided architecture wasn't for him. so he decided to set up his own design studio in 2005. in that same year he exhibited at 100% design in london and received a merit for best new talent. since than he has won awards to exhibit at salone satellite in 2006, imm cologne in 2007 and stockholm furniture fair 2008. his accessories including beat, coat-rack and click, polaroid mirror are sold in leading design shops from london to tokyo. colin is currently working on a number of projects for other leading
manufactures and is busy working on his new accessories for 2009
