inspired by the obsure and uncanny in life tina tsang tries to breathe life into everyday objects to create an unconscious dialoge between the object and user. the aim of her design is to enthrall the user and give
a sense of other worldliness to everyday life. tina is a graduate of central saint martins college of art in film and
illustration, which
has also been a major influence in designing her products and
aims to make products that help you enjoy your everyday home life more
in being able to engage with products with real character.
heat that penetrates where they eye cannot go, where the hand cannot
reach. heat that animals the interpretation between people, between
their imagination of the world, heat created when two things rub
together. made in the uk only by highly skilled craftsman these
collectable and usable pieces are made from sturdy earthenware. blaue blume was first conceived by wanting to solidify the texture of lace
onto ceramics to make ceramics have a softer, more textural feel. lace
patterns may vary on the saucer. the process has been experimented on
for about a year before finally being put into production. there is an
unexpected result when casting lace since some cast well and others
don't. we only cast rare one off pieces of vintage lace that is a
component of a set. the aim to make products that help you enjoy your
everyday home life more in being able to engage with products with real
character.
